Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully for more details on booking a shoot with me. By making a booking with me you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.

Rates and Payment

My rates for a location shoot cover travel time and costs within a 30 mile drive of Bracknell or a train journey into London with a zone 1-6 travel card.

Please note that a payment of 50% of the total fee is required when booking to secure your booked slot. This deposit payment is refundable if at least one week's notice of cancellation is given.

Following our agreement of a booking date I will send you an invoice for the deposit that will secure that booking. That invoice will include payment instructions and will be due to be paid immediately as this is the only way of securing your booked slot. Please note that until a booking is secured, rates are subject to change without prior notice.

The remaining amount is due to be paid following the shoot, once proof images have been provided to you but before any editing takes place.

Payment can be made by bank transfer or by using a paypal.me link that you will be sent.

Location Shoot

Once your deposit has been paid, and the booking secured, we will discuss location, duration, style, etc. Pinterest (or similar) can be used to share ideas regarding image styles and outfits.The duration of the shoot starts from the time agreed beforehand, and includes any time required for outfit changes. As mentioned on my "Services" pages I am not able to provide Hair and Makeup services. you are welcome to arrange your own, to be carried out before the shoot, but it is your responsibility to make sure you are ready to shoot at the agreed time.

Home Studio Shoot

 

Once your deposit has been paid, and the booking secured, we will discuss styles, levels, outfits, backdrops, etc. Pinterest (or similar) can be used to share ideas regarding image styles and outfits. The duration of the shoot starts from the time agreed beforehand, and includes any time required for outfit changes. As mentioned on my "Services" pages I am not able to provide Hair and Makeup services. You are welcome to arrange your own, to be carried out before the shoot, but it is your responsibility to make sure you are ready to shoot at the agreed time.

Equipment

I use a DSLR with a full-frame sensor. On a location shoot, I always carry a 24-70mm lens and an 85mm portrait lens, as these allow for a wide variety of shot styles. I generally carry at least one reflector (which more often than not doubles as a changing screen if required). At home, I have a number of studio lights and modifiers, pop-up backgrounds, paper roll backgrounds and a Lastolite Hi-Lite which means I can shoot images with a blown white background. I also have a selection of curtains which can make for interesting backdrops.

Images Edits and Usage Rights

 

I presume you are wanting to book a shoot with me because you like my images and my style of editing. The delivered final images will be edited in a style in line with my current portfolio of work as seen on this website and on my Instagram feed. This includes colour grading and any other form of retouching that I do on my images. However,  I am open to suggestions, ideas and concepts so please feel free to share with me any thoughts you might have.

 

Unless agreed beforehand, the copyright of the images is retained by me and no changes of any kind are authorised (e.g. use of  filters, further retouching, etc). However, please do contact me if you would like any adjustments to be made to the final edit.

 

All clients who shoot with me are required to sign a release form which can be made available to you by email on request. If you have any questions about this form, or would prefer me not to use our images on my website and/or social media platforms then please do not hesitate to contact me to inform me of this (e.g. if a shoot involves lingerie, nudity, etc. you may prefer that these images remain private and are not posted in a public forum). Your preference will always be respected and followed.

If you choose to share our images on social media then I would request that you give me credit where possible. On Instagram this should include a mention in the caption and a tag on the image itself. I will also do the same for any images you are happy for me to post.

Selection of images for editing

Following the shoot the proof images will be made available to you in a private password-protected album  Pixieset. This will usually be within 3-5 days following our shoot. You will be able to use the 'favourite' facility within the album to choose the images you would like to be edited, at which point the final balance will be required to be paid. Please note that all proof images are watermarked and you are not permitted to use them.

Once you have finalised your choices and paid for the edits, final digital images will usually be sent to you within ten days. This turnaround time may be longer if a large number of images are chosen. High resolution final images (jpg format) will be provided to you using another private Pixieset album.

You are advised to download these at your earliest opportunity as the album will deleted from Pixieset after 30 days. I keep all proof and edited images for at least 30 days following the completion of edits, but due to storage capacity may delete them after this time. Once they have been delivered to you, the final images are your responsibility and I would recommend producing backup copies as I may not be able to provide you with replacement versions after this 30 days has expired.

Cancellations and rescheduling

I completely understand that life is rarely perfect and sometimes illness, family life, etc. can lead to a need to cancel or reschedule a shoot. The deposit payment is fully refundable if at least a week's notice is given of a cancellation. If you give less than a week's notice then you will not receive a refund of the deposit.

You may prefer to reschedule a shoot rather than cancel outright. If you reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice then this will not incur any additional fee. If you choose to reschedule on a second occasion then an additional payment of £25 will be required before the new shoot date is secured.

 

In the event of extreme weather conditions on the day of an outdoor location shoot, an alternative date can be made at no cost or a location with covered areas can be used instead.
