I am Apollo, a Bracknell-based photographer driven by the genuine connections I build with the people I photograph. I believe that the best portraits happen when you feel completely yourself, which is why I prioritise creating a relaxed, pressure-free environment on every shoot.
Having spent 20 years working in education I realised that I had let creativity slide out of my life due to increasing work pressures over time. I decided to embark on a Diploma in Photography, and I very quickly discovered that I loved making photographs of people. I also quickly realised that the skills that had stood me such good stead throughout my career - patience, a personable and approachable nature and my ability to empathise - were now invaluable in this newfound passion for photographing people.
I really don't like having my own photo taken so I know how difficult it can be on the other side of the camera lens, so my goal is to put you entirely at ease from the moment we begin, ensuring the photoshoot is as enjoyable as the final results, and allowing your true character to shine confidently through the lens. There is nothing more important to me than your safety, comfort and that you leave our shoot having had an enjoyable experience.
